History Oye Plage: Why camping “casino” ?

Early 20th century, in place of the Atlantic Wall in front of the beach stood a casino hotel, giving this part of the town of Oye-Plage the name of a place called “casino”.

It was destroyed during the Second World War. So we gave the camping name of the locality in which it is located when we created it in 1989.

Then 36 locations, we grew from 21 in winter 2012 reaching our current size of 57 locations and have completed a sanitary expansion in 2014.
